Garage door forced by would-be burglars in Harrogate

A garage door in Harrogate was forced open at 3am this morning (July 10) in a suspected attempted burglary.

North Yorkshire Police appealed for information today about the incident on Hookstone Grange Way.

The force said in a statement:

A loud bang was heard, waking the victim. Nothing is believed to have been stolen from the garage.

We’re particularly appealing for any witnesses or if any suspicious behaviour was seen or heard around the time of the incident, leading up to it or afterwards.
