Harrogate Theatre has announced Richard Ayoade, Miriam Margolyes, and Masie Adam as the headliners for the 17th annual Harrogate Comedy Festival.
The festival, which will take place between September 30 to November 1, will also feature sets from Harry Enfield, Seann Walsh, Tez Ilyas, Ed Patrick, Jason Byrne, Reece Shearsmith, Rachel Mars, Alexei Sayle, Laura Smyth, and Paul Merton and Suki Webster.
There will also be a range of improv and family offerings, including A Star Wars Improv Show: The One Man Made-Up Movie Parody, the Olivier Award-winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical, and for younger audiences, Olaf Falafel’s Stupidest Super Stupid Show.
Hometown-girl Maisie Adam will continue her tradition of supporting the charity Frank’s Fund during the event. The proceeds from her Comedy Gala will go towards the charity, which was set up in honour of Frank Ashton, a Harrogate teenager who tragically died of Ewings sarcoma in 2019.
Marcus Romer, Harrogate comedy festival programmer, said:
Harrogate Comedy Festival has become one of the highlights of our year, attracting some of the country's finest comedians alongside exciting new voices. We're delighted to once again bring such a varied programme to Harrogate, offering something for everyone - whether you're a lifelong comedy fan or simply looking for a great night out.
Tickets for all performances are on sale now, and available to purchase from the Harrogate Theatre website.
