Harrogate Cricket Club will host the final of the 20-over Addison Cup on Monday (July 13).
The match, which starts at 6.15pm and is free to watch, features a village showdown between Beckwithshaw and Burnt Yates.
Beckwithshaw, who beat Darley in the semi-finals, are the most successful team in the cup’s history, having won it a record 16 times. Their most recent success was in 2023.
Burnt Yates, who overcame Studley Royal in the semi-finals, have only lifted the cup once, in 2022.
Harrogate are the premier local cricket club, so the match presents a memorable opportunity for players and spectators to experience a match on a ground that has hosted first-class cricket.
The Addison Cup, which was first contested in 1922 and has been held every year since except 1943 and 2020, is one of the oldest cricket competitions in the world.

Test cricketers, including New Zealand’s Martin Crowe and West Indian Rohan Kanhai, have played in the competition over the years.
First-round losers go into the Atkinson Cup, which was won this year by last year's Addison Cup winners, Whixley. They defeated North Stainley by seven wickets on July 6.
The Greaves Cup final, contested by teams in the third and fourth divisions of the Harrogate and District Amateur Evening Cricket League, takes place at Spofforth on July 20, when Ripley will play Rainton.
The final of the MMP Cup, featuring first-round losers in the Greaves Cup, culminates on July 27 at Knaresborough Forest, when the host club take on Wath and Melmerby.
