Police are appealing for information about the theft of a Range Rover in Harrogate.
North Yorkshire Police said in a statement today (October 29) that the vehicle was taken from Swarcliffe Road, which is in the Kingsley area.
The statement added:
The incident occurred at 9.45pm on October 25 when a grey Range Rover VRM DF66OYS was stolen without keys.
Officers are carrying out enquiries and are asking anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or who may have CCTV, doorbell, dashcam or other footage that could assist the investigation, to get in touch.
Keyless car thefts occur when criminals steal a car without having the original key, often by exploiting the wireless technology used by modern keyless-entry and keyless-start systems.
It means they do not need to break a window, force a lock or physically steal keys.
