Dear Reader, this article is free to read. We publish about 100 articles a week all exclusively focused on local news. Please support independent local journalism by subscribing here. It costs as little as 14p a day.

Some of the world’s most expensive and high-powered sports cars will roar back into Harrogate town centre next week.

Harrogate-based Apollo Capital will team up with The Yorkshire Veteran Car Run to showcase more than 100 supercars, hypercars, and vintage classics for a third year.

This high-octane extravaganza returns to the Yorkshire Hotel on Prospect Place and will also see vehicles lined up along James Street, which will be closed for the duration.

The veteran rally, organised by antique car enthusiast Daniel Ward, will parade more than 60 vintage cars, including some of the earliest and most historic examples of motoring, while Apollo Capital, a finance broker of luxury, classic, super and hyper cars, will present their modern-day counterparts.

Big-name cars already confirmed for the Harrogate Concours include a Bugatti Veyron, McLaren Senna, Porsche GT2 RS, Aston Martin DBS, and Ferrari 12Cilindri.

Free to attend, the concours will be open for viewing on Saturday, June 20, between 10am and 3pm. A grand depart of all cars will then proceed through the town.

David Moss, managing director and founder of Apollo Capital, said:

We are incredibly proud to bring the Harrogate Concours back for 2026. Harrogate is Apollo Capital’s home, and this event gives us the opportunity to bring together our clients, partners, local residents and car enthusiasts for a day that celebrates every era of motoring.

From beautiful veteran cars to some of the world’s most exciting modern hypercars and supercars, the concours is a true showcase of automotive passion. Guests can expect a remarkable contrast between the dawn of motoring and some of the most advanced performance cars of the modern era.

This year’s event will once again be held in aid of Martin House Children’s Hospice.
