Wrap up the district this Christmas

A gift they will open every day.

Socks get forgotten and chocolates are gone by Boxing Day. A Stray Ferret subscription keeps giving long after the decorations come down.

A Stray Ferret subscription gives someone you love trusted, independent news from across the Harrogate district every day of the year. It keeps them close to their community, keeps them in the know and gives them plenty to talk about around the kitchen table.

What their subscription includes:

• First for breaking news: they’ll hear what’s happening in Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon and the villages as it happens
• In-depth investigations: full access to our public-interest journalism and the stories that hold decision-makers to account
• Exclusive local discounts and offers: savings on products, experiences and services from local businesses that they won’t find anywhere else, with new offers added throughout the year
• More lifestyle features: features that celebrate the area and its people, dig into its history and suggest things to do in their spare time
• A say on local issues: only subscribers can comment and join the local debate
• Independent local journalism: every subscription helps keep quality, independent news alive in the district
