Matalan set to open revamped Knaresborough store
Matalan will welcome customers to its refreshed Knaresborough store tomorrow (September 26).
The discount retailer is spending £25 million upgrading its stores.
To celebrate the Knaresborough changes, early visitors to St James Retail Park will receive golden envelopes containing discounts at a launch event from 9am.
Additional offers and hidden vouchers will also be available throughout the reopening week.
The discount retailer has remained open while the upgrade has been carried out.
Matalan said in a statement today the site had received a “significant investment to create a more modern and enjoyable shopping experience for the local community”.
It added:
The store has been refreshed throughout, with updated departments, improved layouts and enhanced displays creating a brighter and more inspiring environment to shop Matalan’s latest collections.
The updated layout has been designed to make navigating the store easier, with customers able to explore a wide selection of womenswear, menswear, kidswear and homeware.
Chris Wike, store manager at Matalan Knaresborough, said:
The investment has created a much brighter and more contemporary environment, while the updated layout makes it easier for customers to browse and discover our latest collections.
