A Harrogate shopkeeper who died in May has been paid tribute to with a new sign outside her former workplace.
Claire Lewis, who ran Number One Shop on Electric Avenue, was a popular member of the community, and locals were devastated to hear of her passing.
At the time, numerous flowers and cards were left outside the shop, and now a more permanent tribute has been erected.
Above a new front door, a sign reads 'Claire's No.1 Shop'.
Speaking exclusively to the Stray Ferret, Claire's sister Samantha Stewart said:
Claire loved her shop and all of her customers and it’s such a beautiful tribute to her seeing her name above the door, and reading the wonderful comments on the Harrogate Facebook page.
I just wish she knew what she meant to everyone and how loved she was in the community. I miss Claire so much and it will be very emotional when I go down and see the shop.

Ms Stewart also said she believed there was to be a plaque put up in Claire's honour.
A picture of the new sign was put on a Facebook community group, and was flooded with comments from people saying what a lovely tribute it was.
One said "A lovely tribute to such a special lady! Missed very much" while another added "Claire was so loved and [is] missed dearly. She worked so hard at her shop, such a strong dedicated woman who kept the fight up as best she could."
