Two fire crews from Harrogate were called out this afternoon (June 23) to a tractor fire in Killinghall.
The diesel vehicle, on Burley Bank Road – between the Army Foundation College and the A59 Skipton Road – was totally destroyed by the blaze, which is believed to have been caused accidentally.
The fire also spread to 20 square metres of grass.
Firefighters, who arrived at 12.42pm, used breathing aparatus, hose reel jets, a thermal imaging camera and wildfire tools to extinguish the blaze.
