A man has denied sexual assault in Knaresborough.
Chidozie Lumanze, 41, appeared before Harrogate Magistrates Court on Thursday (August 6) where he spoke to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
Mr Lumanze, of Fairways Avenue in Harrogate, pleaded not guilty to three counts of sexual assault on a female, who cannot be named for legal reasons, in Knaresborough.
The alleged offences took place between February 14, 2026 and February 17, 2026.
Magistrates adjourned the case to York Crown Court, where Mr Lumanze will appear for a plea and trial preparation hearing on August 24, 2026.
