‘Morons’ deface Harrogate’s Valley Gardens
Several trees in Harrogate’s Valley Gardens have been sprayed with graffiti.
The trees are believed to have been targeted on Saturday (August 22).
The Stray Ferret was alerted to the graffiti this morning by a concerned resident, who said it had been reported to the police, North Yorkshire Council and the Friends of Valley Gardens.
The source, who described whoever is responsible as “morons”, added it had taken place at the same location in Valley Gardens where branches were broken and drugs paraphernalia had been found a month ago.
The 17-acre Valley Gardens were created in 1887 to commemorate Queen Victoria’s golden jubilee.
