Festival of Archaeology at Thornborough, North Yorkshire

Come and find out more about Thornborough’s remarkable Neolithic and Bronze Age landscape on Saturday 19th July 2025. Join either a morning (10am-2pm) or an afternoon (1pm-5pm) session. Each session consists of a talk by Dr Jan Harding, offering an overview of Thornborough’s development and use between 4000-1000 BC, followed by a Q&A and an opportunity to handle prehistoric finds from here and elsewhere. You can then drive the short distance to the henge monuments, and in the company of experts, enjoy a guided walk.  The event is £5 per person.
