Library
The Victoria Avenue library was originally intended to be a much larger building, but after a generous library grant from philanthropist Andrew Carnegie, the rest of the site became a pleasant garden still enjoyed by locals to this day.

Directions to Rogers' Almshouses (1 minute walk):
- Outside the entrance to the library is a zebra crossing across Victoria Avenue. Cross and immediately in front of you is Belford Road.
- Walk up Belford Road and find the Almshouses on your left.
