The judges of the Stray Ferret Business Awards are on the lookout for family-owned businesses with long-term, sustainable business models.
Family Business is one of 10 categories in the awards, and is sponsored by HMCA, a family-owned private health insurance provider whose head office is in Knaresborough.
Philip Allott, CEO of HMCA, said:
HMCA is delighted to be sponsoring the Stray Ferret Business Awards in the Family Business category and to help promote the incredible achievements of family-owned businesses, like ours, who contribute to the local community.
We welcome a diverse range of family business applicants and HMCA will be especially looking for ambition, long-term business planning to create sustainable jobs, and family commitment.
The Stray Ferret Business Awards, which are once again sponsored by financial adviser Prosperis, recognise the brightest and best of the region’s business talent across all sectors.
They are open to entrants from across the Harrogate district, including Boroughbridge, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Masham, Nidderdale, Ripon and the surrounding areas.
The winners will be announced to 350 guests at a superb black-tie event in the Pavilions of Harrogate on March 26.
