Ebru Evrim Studio has closed, but its owner has started another similar business.

An online meeting will be held next week for creditors of Ebru Evrim Ltd, the Harrogate pilates business that closed its James Street studio in April.

According to a notice published by The Gazette, the official public record, the business owner, Ebru Evrim, is “seeking a decision from creditors on the nomination of a liquidator”.

The meeting may also consider the liquidator’s pre- and post-appointment remuneration.

It continues:

In order to vote at the virtual meeting, creditors must deliver a form of proxy to the chair before the commencement of the virtual meeting.

For any vote to be counted it must be accompanied by a proof of debt in respect of the creditors claim (unless one has already been submitted) and received by the chair by 4pm on the business day before the virtual meeting.

When Ebru Evrim’s James Street studio closed, the company blamed the move on the “rising costs” of the location.

It also said that Ms Evrim would be launching a new business, Evrimotion, to train pilates teachers and give workshops and one-to-one sessions.

The virtual meeting for creditors of Ebru Evrim Ltd will be held at 10.15am on Tuesday, June 30. For more details, contact Tessa Maltby on 0113 4678740 or at Tessa.Maltby@ellisbreese.co.uk.
