An air ambulance landed at a school in Harrogate this morning after a man suffered a cardiac arrest.

The Stray Ferret was alerted to the incident by concerned readers who had noticed the helicopter land at Coppice Valley Primary School shortly after 10.30am today (January 15).

The Stray Ferret contacted Yorkshire Air Ambulance to get further details of the incident.

A spokesperson for the charity said:

“The air ambulance landed on the school premises for ease of access as it is a residential area. The accident had nothing to do with the primary school. The crew were attending an adult cardiac arrest.”
