Light up your evening at Fountains by Floodlight Wrap up warm, put your wellies on, pack your torches and get ready for an after dark adventure at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal. Explore beneath the cellarium’s vaulted ceilings, wander under the grand columns of the nave, create shapes in the shadows, hear the crunch of footsteps echo through the ruins and sing along with the live choirs.
Fountains by Floodlight is taking place on Saturday 25, Sunday 26, Friday 31 October and Saturday 1 November from 5 – 9pm.
Join a guided tour at 6pm or 7pm to find out more about the rich history of the abbey. Both tours last approximately 1 hour. Listen to a live choral performance in the cellarium at 6.30pm and 7.30pm. Both performances last approximately 1 hour. Tuck into tasty food in the Mill Yard, approx.100m from the abbey ruins and enjoy the resounding Gregorian chant in Huby’s tower.
