Everyone is welcome to head on a monthly walk led by the Brimham Rocks volunteers. Follow in the footsteps of the Cistercian monks on an ancient trail leading you to Fountains Abbey. Along the way, you’ll be met with expansive views from Riva Hill to Brimham Rocks.

This is an 8 mile walk and will take approximately 5 hours – including a morning coffee break and a picnic stop. Don’t worry about walking back to Brimham Rocks as we’ll be hopping on the DalesBus 825 service at Fountains Abbey at 4:43pm. The bus fare back costs £2.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a short lead and they must also be able to climb over stiles.

These walks will take place on the last Sunday of every month.

This is a free guided walk. Normal car parking charges apply. National Trust members park for free when you scan your membership card. The bus fare back is a maximum of £2 per person.

Meet your walk guides at the Welcome Hut in the car park at 11 am. There is no need to pre-book for this walk.
