Join National Trust and Word Up North Writer in Residence Natalie Anastasia Davies for a mindful exploration of the flora and fauna of Brimham.

Three writing workshops, including ac accessible workshop, will be taking place between 10am-2pm on Sunday 8 September, Sunday 15 September and Thursday 10 October. There is a limited number of places for these workshops so please book your ticket in advance.

You’ll take a guided tour among the famous crags, take in the awe-inspiring Cannon Rocks, peek in the Smartie Tube and gander at the plant life growing from these ancient, ever-evolving structures. Visit the Dancing Bear, pass by Idol Rock and pause at the Druid’s Writing Desk, taking in breath taking views of Nidderdale. Engage your senses and contemplate your place in nature before returning to Brimham House to reflect, discuss and craft creative prose or poetry in response to this unique natural site.

Walking routes involve uneven rocky terrain on an incline. The indoor venue has stairs and outdoor steps. Please get in touch on 01423 780688 if you have any accessibility requirements. the access workshop will be held at Brimham Rocks before heading offsite to an accessible location.
