In this event, former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon presents her forthcoming memoir Frankly, offering an intimate and candid account of her journey from working‑class Ayrshire to becoming Scotland’s longest‑serving First Minister. She delves into landmark political moments, from the 2014 Scottish independence referendum to Brexit and the COVID‑19 pandemic.

The memoir frames Sturgeon’s relationships with key political figures like Alex Salmond, Theresa May and Boris Johnson and explores how the boundaries between her public and private life shaped her time in office.
