Join us for an evening with Patrick Grant, best know for his work as a designer, a judge of The Great British Sewing Bee and campaigner for sustainable fashion, as he discusses his new book “Less: Stop Buying So Much Rubbish – How Having Fewer, Better Things Can Make Us Happier”.
Drawing on his experience in British tailoring and manufacturing, Grant explores how our relationship with clothing has changed and what we can do to fix it. From the rise of fast fashion to the decline of local industry, he considers how quality, repair and re-use might help us live more sustainably and feel better about what we own.
