Neuroscientist Professor Adam Zeman opens up the remarkable world of imagination, uncovering how memory, daydreams and the mind’s eye shape our inner lives.

Psychologist Dr Madeleine Pownall uncovers the forgotten women who helped shape modern psychology, revealing how their pioneering ideas transformed our understanding of the human mind.

Each speaker takes the stage for around 20 minutes, followed by audience questions, with intervals to grab a drink, browse books from local bookseller Imagined Things, and continue the conversation.

With ideas in the air and a drink in hand, this is a night to discover something unexpected, meet fellow curious minds and leave seeing your own mind, and the minds of others, in a whole new light.
