THE BIG ART SHOW

The Big Art Show is the North’s largest contemporary art show and a unique opportunity to buy original art, support regional artists and raise money for some of the most vulnerable children in Yorkshire.
Taking place every two years, this year’s event will feature more than 750 original artworks by over 70 artists including paintings, photography, sculptures and ceramics with prices from £40 to £4000.
The majority of artists are well known in the region and have taken part in many regional exhibitions and open studios with a wide number also exhibiting nationally and with work enjoyed by private collectors both in the UK and worldwide. They include Emerson Mayes, Lesley Birch, James Naugton, Kim Coley, Ric Liptrot, Rob Shaw, Katie Smith, Jenny Calder, Janie Stevens.
The show is open to the public free of charge from 29th October – 1st November 2025. A paid for Preview Evening will be held on Tuesday 28 October, with tickets available for £20, including canapés and drinks. See website for daily opening times.
