HACS Harrogate Music Festival starts on Thursday.
Organised by Harrogate International Festivals, it's running from June 26 to July 11, and concerts will be held across town in venues such as the Royal Hall, St Wilfrid’s Church, RHS Harlow Carr and more.
Fergus McCreadie Trio will be performing on Sunday evening
It promises to be a vibrant celebration of music and the arts, showcasing music of every genre, from classical to cabaret, with audiences also enjoying performances by top-tier orchestras, soloists, and emerging artists.
Unlike large urban festivals, Harrogate offers a more accessible, personal atmosphere, which is ideal for connecting with the music and performers.

The annual Harrogate Food & Drink Festival is taking place on The Stray this weekend.
Expect to see live chef demonstrations, artisan markets, a street food arena, independent bars, live music and entertainment, and plenty of activities for the kids, including a fun fair, performing arts acts and a mobile farm.
The weather is set to stay fine and dry too. Bonus.

Bilton and Woodfield Library is holding its annual community event this Saturday.
Its new multi-function room will be officially opened by Deputy Mayor Cllr Jenny Travena, and will increase what the library is able to offer the community.
Local groups Bilton Historical Society, Bilton Conservation Group, Pine Street Allotments and St John’s Church Green Team will be there, as will Dancing for Wellbeing, North Yorkshire Rotters, Harrogate and District Community Action/HELP and Community Policing.
A highlight for children will be the attendance of Harrogate Town AFC with their ‘Beat the Goalie’ challenge.

The Harmony Energy Harrogate 10km is taking place this weekend.
The multi-terrain race – that’s approximately 70 per cent tarmac with the rest on footpaths – is set in the beautiful Crimple Valley in Harrogate, and the course has been specifically designed to be suitable for all levels of runner: it will appeal to those contemplating their first race but also to seasoned club runners who are looking for a challenge.
The entry limit is 1,000 places, and at the time of publishing, there are still 176 remaining places. If the event is not sold out, entries on the day will be allowed, subject to a £2 cash or card payment.
The race will once again be preceded by a children’s fun run at 9am, where only 100 places are available.
From £19 for pre-bookings, the race starts at 10am, June 29. The start and finish is at Harrogate Sports and Fitness Club, on Hookstone Wood Road, Harrogate, HG2 8PN.
The Nidderdale Charity Tractor Road Run is taking place this Sunday.
It will be a chance to see both modern and vintage tractors that will journey from Kirkby Malzeard to Pateley Bridge and back again.
People will gather for breakfast at R&J Butchers from 8.30am before departing, and families are welcome to watch the tractors set off and cheer them on around the route.
The event will help to raise money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance, and there will be a stall at the starting point where attendees can learn more about its lifesaving work.
Free to attend, £20 per tractor, £15 per passenger; entries can be taken on the day but are cash only, from 8.30am, June 29, meet outside R&J Butchers, Long Swales Lane, Kirkby Malzeard, Ripon, HG4 3RJ.
Knaresborough's Party in the Castle is taking place from 5-11pm this Saturday, June 28.
The annual event is held in the grounds of Knaresborough Castle where a large screen is used to broadcast live footage of the Glastonbury Festival. Free to attend, attendees can bring their own chairs and picnic blankets for a festival atmosphere closer to home.
