An appeal has been launched after a man tried to kiss a teenager’s hand at KFC in Starbeck.
North Yorkshire Police today said the incident, which happened at around 10.57pm on Christmas Eve last year, involved a man “trying to kiss the hand of a teenager”.
The man is described as being in his mid 40s, of a large build and bald, the force added.
The teenager managed to pull her hand away. Police said she was not harmed but was left shaken by the incident.
Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to following the incident.
Today’s statement added:
Please contact us if you recognise the man pictured on CCTV, as he may have information that will assist our investigation.
