Firefighters were called to a residential property in Harrogate today (January 3).
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service's incident log said crews responded to reports of a kitchen fire shortly before 1.30pm.
The log added the fire had been extinguished by a dry power extinguisher prior to the fire service arriving. Firefighters then used a thermal imaging camera to inspect the site.
The occupant of the house, who was suffering from shock and smoke inhalation, was left in the care of paramedics.
No further information has been released.
