The Coach & Horses in Harrogate is to reopen in just over a week's time after an extensive refurbishment.
The Stray Ferret understands the pub, which closed earlier this month, will welcome back customers on Monday, July 1.
Provenance Inns bought the pub on West Park in 2021 and refurbished the venue by reinstating the corner entrance and removing the central bar.
But the new, smaller bar at the back of the pub was met with a mixed reaction.
Coach and Horses Harrogate closed for refurbishment
Last year the company applied for a variation of its premises licence to relocate the bar, to the south wall against White's ladies shop.
At the time Anthony Blundell, head of business development at Provenance Inns told the Stray Ferret:
[The application] is in response to the feedback we've received from our guests, since our remodel, to have a much larger bar that our guests can sit or stand at.
Provenance Inns also owns the West Park Hotel on the same street.
The refurbishment is currently ongoing and guests will see the bar back in action in July.
The Stray Ferret has contacted Provenance Inns for further information.
