Three rural primary schools near Harrogate will be closed today because of the icy conditions it was announced this morning.
Beckwithshaw Community Primary School, Kettlesing Felliscliffe Primary School and Ripley Endowed CE Primary School sent the Stray Ferret a message this morning annoucing their closure.
The schools all belong to the Federation of Beckwithshaw, Kettlesing Felliscliffe, and Ripley Endowed CE Primary Schools.
The Forest School, on Park Lane in Knaresborough and Springwater School in Starbeck have also said they will close.
But St Aidan's Church of England High School in Harrogate confirmed it will open.
