Police have appealed for information after a fence was spray painted in Harrogate.

North Yorkshire Police said the first incident happened on April 19, 2025, at 10.01pm on Nesfield Close. It involved one man being caught on CCTV spray painting a fence and making off on foot in the direction of Stonebeck Avenue.

A second report was made to police on May 13 at 2.58am after the same fence was spray painted by two different people.

Officers said two further incidents of graffiti were found further down the public footpath in the area which used red spray paint.

Police have released CCTV images of the incident.

A force statement said:
