A Ripon man has pleaded guilty to possessing a knife in the centre of Harrogate.
Michael Wilson, 47, admitted to carrying a fish knife on Cambridge Road on April 25 this year.
Mr Wilson, of St Mary’s Flats, St Marygate, also admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words at the Navigation Inn in Ripon.
The charges were heard at York Magistrates Court on Saturday (June 14).
He was remanded on conditional bail ahead of sentencing at Harrogate Magistrates Court on August 1.
As part of his bail conditions, Mr Wilson was told not to contact two named people or go within 100 metres of the Navigation Inn.
He was also ordered to live and sleep each night at an address in Ripon.
