Two men have appeared in court charged with wounding a man in Harrogate.
Keiran Oldroyd, 23, and Dylan Allport, 23, both appeared at Harrogate Magistrates Court on Friday (May 2).
Both men spoke to confirm their names, addresses and dates of birth in court.
Oldroyd, of Pickering Gardens, was charged with maliciously and unlawfully wounding a named man on Montpellier Street on October 23, 2023.
He was also charged with assaulting an emergency worker and assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm. Both charges relate to the same date.
Allport, of Diamond Place, was also charged with maliciously and unlawfully wounding a named man on Montpellier Street on October 23, 2023.
The 23-year-old is also alleged to have assaulted a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm and damaged a mobile phone of a named man to the cost of £500 on the same date.
Magistrates referred the case to York Crown Court where both men will appear for a plea hearing on June 9.
