Brew York has announced that The Mitre in Knaresborough has become its second venue to sell Asian fusion street food.
The Mitre, opposite the town’s train station, was one of three pubs acquired by Brew York from Market Town Taverns last year.
Brew York said in a statement today it would open its second Brew+Bao venture in the pub on Wednesday, May 21.
The company opened its first Brew+Bao in Chapel Allerton this year, which introduced the concept of pairing bao buns, loaded fries, and crispy noodle stacks with craft beer.
Wayne Smith, managing director of Brew York, said The Mitre felt like a natural next step for Brew+Bao.
Gregg Ruddy, general manager of Brew+Bao: Knaresborough, added:
The feedback from Chapel Allerton has been phenomenal, and we’re confident Knaresborough will embrace what we’ve created here too. We can’t wait to open the doors and share the food, beer and atmosphere that make Brew+Bao special.
