Months of roadworks set to begin in Knaresborough
Roadworks lasting up to four months are due to get underway in Knaresborough on Monday (April 14).
Yorkshire Water has informed Chain Lane Community Hub it will undertake work to improve the water infrastructure.
It said:
The work will start at Chain Lane near our junction and gradually move onto York Road. There will be temporary traffic lights during this period and this could last four months.
There will be a pause of work during the Great Yorkshire Show period to reduce disruption.
This does mean that traffic will be affected, but our centre does remain open. To ensure that there's minimum disruption, where possible we ask that people do not park on the road outside of our centre.
