Police arrest wanted man believed to be in Harrogate

Police have arrested a man accused of possesing an offensive weapon who was believed to be in Harrogate or Knaresborough.

North Yorkshire Police issued an appeal on Tuesday (August 27) to help trace the man who was wanted in connection with a number of alleged offences, including theft.

Officers arrested the man on Thursday evening and thanked the public for their support during the appeal.
