Ripon residents and Bank Holiday visitors to the city on Saturday gathered on Market Square for an event that turned the clock back on three decades of pop and rock music.
The evening featured three live acts who performed blockbusting hits from the 1970s, 80s and 90s.
Concert-goers also saw the setting of the watch by Wayne Cobbett, a member of the Ripon hornblower team, who carried out the world-famous traditional ceremony at 9pm.
The concert, organised by Ripon City Council and paid for from the parish precept, was part of a day-long programme of family-focused entertainment.
Earlier in the day young children were able to ride free of charge on the galloping horses and revolving tea cups roundabouts, while older children and adults enjoyed the thrills of the Sizzler.
In addition to the fairground attractions, there were displays from North Yorkshire emergency services, Jennyruth Workshops and Ripon Museums
The Sizzler proved popular throughout the day
The galloping horses roundabout was one of two rides provided for families with younger children.
As well as the fairground rides, children were able to sit in the cab of a fire engine. Here three-year-old Tommy is pictured with Firefighter Robin Hughes from the Red Watch at Ripon Fire Station.
The 80s Mix Tape duo turned the clock back with hits from 40 years ago and more
Wayne Cobbett, a member of the Ripon hornblower team, turned the clock back even further, with an ancient ceremony dating back to 886 and Alfred The Great.
The evening events concluded with an hour-long performance from WOW That's What I Call 90s Music
