The winners of the giant vegetable competition at the Harrogate Autumn Flower Show have been announced today.
The three-day show at Newby Hall, between Ripon and Boroughbridge, is one of the most highly anticipated events in the gardening calendar.
Organised by the North of England Horticultural Society, it attracts up to 30,000 visitors.
This opening morning (September 13) there was a sight to behold in the Incredible Edible Pavilion.
The 2024 NEHS Giant Vegetable Competition saw colossal cabbages and monumental marrows battle for the top titles.
The green giants were weighed, and the results were presented at 9am this morning.
The winners are as follows:
