A blind woman was assaulted in Knaresborough earlier this month.
North Yorkshire Police today said the incident happened on Chestnut Drive on Friday, February 14, between 5.15pm and 5.30pm.
The force added the female victim, who is registered blind, was walking her dog on Boroughbridge Road.
She crossed the road near the roundabout that connects Boroughbridge Road and Chestnut Drive when she was approached by an unknown woman, who assaulted her.

Today’s statement said:
We’re appealing to the dog walker and anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or motorists who may have caught the incident on dashcam footage, to get in touch.
