The grade two listed former Harrogate Arms will be brought back to working order for the first time in over a decade next month.
The Royal Horticultural Society today has announced the opening of the Harrogate Arms Cafe in April.
Originally built in 1844 by Henry Wright, the Harrogate Arms and the nearby Bath House were set in pleasure gardens which are now part of RHS Garden Harlow Carr.
The Harrogate Arms started as a hotel, then saw party nights in The Crag Bar in the 1970s to most recently being used as a Thai restaurant.

It closed in 2012 and the horticultural charity was granted planning and listed building consent in 2019 to convert the pub into a café.
The café will have indoor and outdoor seating on the terrace serving a menu based on seasonal ingredients for breakfasts, lunch and artisan coffee. The garden will expand to encompass the new site and the Bath House will serve as an exhibition and event space within the garden.
