People have been hospitalised following a serious collision in a village near Pateley Bridge this afternoon.
North Yorkshire Police today said the crash involved a car and a van on the B6265 in Fellbeck.
It was reported just after 3.20pm.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service incident log said crews “extricated casualties from the vehicle” and all occupants were assessed by paramedics before “being transported to hospital”.
Reports online said the air ambulance was also called to the scene.
The incident is ongoing, firefighters said, with police adding motorists are advised to avoid the area until further notice.

The fire incident log also reported a crash near Ripon this afternoon.
It said firefighters from Ripon, Harrogate and Knaresborough, as well as the incident support unit, were called to a collision involving a tractor and a car in Aldfield, near Fountains Abbey.
The incident happened at 12:47pm, it added.
The summary also said:
“Crews extricated one casualty from a vehicle and left them in care of paramedics on scene. Crews used cutting equipment, sharps protection, stabilisation equipment and a first aid kit.”
