GALLERY: Henshaws choir performs Carols by Candlelight at Ripon Cathedral
Henshaws Makaton Choir lit up Ripon Cathedral with its Carols by Candlelight concert.
The concert on Friday (December 6) was held to raise funds and awareness for people living with sight loss and other disabilities.
The choir from Henshaws Arts and Crafts Centre at Knaresborough uses Makaton, a language programme that uses signs and symbols to help people communicate.
Dave Steele, the blind poet, recited poems that reflected his journey with a visual impairment.
The night was illuminated by candles and sponsored by Myrings. The Stray Ferret attended , and you can see our photos below.
