A Patek Philippe watch and other high-value jewellery were stolen in a residential burglary last month.
North Yorkshire Police today said the incident, which happened at a property on Church Lane in Pannal, took place at around 9.30pm on September 25.
The force said in a statement a Patek Philippe watch – some of which retail for more £1 million – was stolen, as well as a diamond and platinum Tiffany necklace with a matching bracelet and earrings, and multiple pieces of gold ladies’ jewellery.
The value of the items has not been disclosed and police did not release pictures of the stolen jewellery.
Officers are now appealing for information to assist their investigation. The statement said:
We’re particularly appealing for information about suspicious people and vehicles that may have been seen in the area around that time.
