A Harrogate woman has pleaded guilty after her dog injured someone while out of control.
Danielle Romanus, 58, of Scargill Road, appeared at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court on April 12.
She faced one count of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control in a public place, which caused injury.
According to court documents, the incident, which occurred on Oakdale Glen, happened on October 26, 2022.
Romanus pleaded guilty to the charge and was released on unconditional bail.
She will be sentenced at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court on May 3.

Harrogate woman admits having custody of dog whilst banned
A Harrogate woman has pleaded guilty to being in possession of a dog whilst disqualified.
Holly Jones, of St John’s Crescent, appeared at Harrogate Magistrates Court yesterday.
According to court documents, the 30-year-old was handed a court order by magistrates in 2019, which banned her from having custody of a dog.
However, she was found to possess one on March 15 this year.
Jones pleaded guilty to the offence.
She was ordered to pay a £120 fine, £85 in prosecution costs and a £48 surcharge as a result.

Ripon man pleads guilty to damaging cars in Bishopton
A Ripon man has pleaded guilty to damaging cars in the Bishopton area of the city this year.
Mohammad Ahmadi, 38, of Bishopton Place, faced three charges of criminal damage when he appeared at Harrogate Magistrates Court on Thursday last week.
He admitted smashing the wing mirror of a Kia Sorrento at Bishopton Place on February 15, causing £200 damage.
Ahmadi pleaded guilty causing £1,000 damage to a BMW at Bishopton Place on January 22 by keying the door and also admitted keying the door of a VW Polo on January 13, causing £1,000 damage, on Bellman Walk.
He will be sentenced at York Magistrates Court on May 3.

Ripon man admits impersonating a police constable in Harrogate
A Ripon man has admitted impersonating a police constable to steal an electric scooter in Harrogate.
Harley Stacey, 18, of Cedar Close, denied impersonating a police constable when he appeared at Harrogate Magistrates Court on October 27 last year.
But he changed his plea to guilty at York Magistrates Court on Tuesday (April 2) this week.
Stacey also this week admitted falsely claiming to be a police officer to steal an electric scooter for himself on the same date — a charge he had also previously denied.
In a statement at the time, North Yorkshire Police said the incident happened in Bilton.
He was ordered to complete 120 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months and pay £200 compensation.
According to court documents, his guilty plea was taken into account on sentencing.

Knaresborough man jailed for racially aggravated verbal abuse
A Knaresborough man, who used racially aggravated threatening language and later dodged police custody, has been jailed.
Lee Harpin, 38, of Littondale Avenue, appeared at York Magistrates Court on Monday for sentencing.
He was found guilty of two counts of using threatening language with intent to provoke violence in a racially aggravated incident when he appeared at Harrogate Magistrates Court last month.
Harpin was granted unconditional bail pending sentencing but when he failed to turn-up for sentencing, a warrant was issued for his arrest and he was eventually charged with failing to surrender to custody.
He pleaded guilty to the latter charge on Monday and was handed a 26-week prison sentence for the three offences.
According to court documents, magistrates considered Harpin’s “previous record of offending” when deciding his sentence, and felt prison was the only justified punishment for offences “so serious”.
Harpin was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £154, as well as a further £620 to the Crown Prosecution Service, for the abuse offences.
