Female trapped in car after crash in Harrogate

A woman was trapped in her car after a two-vehicle crash on Grove Park Terrace in Harrogate last night.

Emergency services closed the road, which is off Skipton Road, after being alerted at about 9.20pm last night.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service's incident report said a crew from Harrogate attended the call-out. The report added:

"On arrival one car was on it’s side with the female driver trapped within.
"Fire crew stabilised the car and used edraulic cutting equipment to free the female who was then checked over at scene by paramedics.
"Fire crew then made the scene safe with police."
