Football clothing stolen from Harrogate district business

A large amount of football sportswear has been stolen from a business on the edge of the Harrogate district.

North Yorkshire Police today appealed for witnesses to the incident at Long Marston, which is close to the district’s border with York.

The incident took place on Wetherby Road at 10.35pm yesterday (February 4).

A police statement said a group of unknown offenders broke into a commercial property. It added:

“We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. In particular, we are appealing for information about anyone seen acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the offence.

“Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should email [email protected]. You can also call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask for Lily Clennett.”
