Things are wetting up for Harrogate Beer Week, which is returning next month.
The event, which is supported by Harrogate BID, will be a week-long celebration of local breweries and craft beers.
Launched in 2021, beer week will take place in different venues across Harrogate in a bid to celebrate the town’s nightlife and social scene for the fourth time.
Harrogate Beer Week describes itself as a “non-traditional beer week”, adding it intends to bring something new to the town and “disrupt the norms of the perceived brand 'Harrogate'”.
But organisers are still encouraging local businesses to host events in aid of beer week.
They said all pubs, bars and other licensed premises around the town are welcome to get involved, providing the events involve an element of “celebrating great quality beer”.

Marketing representative for Harrogate Beer Week, Rachel Aughty, said the event “puts the spotlight” on the town’s beer scene.
She added:
I’m really proud to lead this project and support my hometown.
From past years we know the event delivers direct benefits to the town, independent beer and food businesses, and has a notable positive impact on the wider town.
I’d love all our brilliant local pubs, bars, taprooms and bottle shops to put forward at least one event or promotion for this year’s programme so they can be part of it.
In previous years, Harrogate Beer Week has included talks by beer experts, panel discussions, guided beer tastings, live music events, pub quizzes and collaborations between local businesses.
Harrogate Beer Week will take place from September 16 to September 22.
