Over the years, the ‘Harrogate Hydro’ provided its many guests with the rigours of the spa ritual, with an emphasis on exercise, fresh air and mineral water.

Directions to next location point
Directions to the Majestic Hotel (approx. 4 minute walk):
- Facing the Old Swan Hotel, turn right and continue to follow Swan Road until you reach the main Ripon Road.
- The grounds of the Majestic Hotel will be directly in front of you on the other side of the road. To gain access, cross the road, turn right and walk down the hill for a short distance.
- On your left is a gate and a brown plaque. Go through this gate and follow the path to get a great view of this grand building.
