Harrogate-based Synergy has appointed Adam Whiteley as finance director after 20 years in the industry.
The Hornbeam Park business is an automotive finance credit broker.
Mr Whiteley said:
This is my first finance director role, and I am looking forward to using everything I have learned to help support Synergy at this exciting time.

Stephen Lennox and Paul Murphy of the White Swan, Minskip.
The Wild Swan, a 19th century inn at Minskip, near Boroughbridge is set to see the return of chef Paul Murphy after a year’s absence.
Mr Murphy is leaving the Aldwark Arms to rejoin the Wild Swan team.
He said:
I was made to feel very much at home by the friendly Minskip community when I was last here. I will never forget the welcome I received and that is one of the prime reasons why I have returned.
I will be looking closely at the menus and, while keeping the old favourites, will introduce some exciting new dishes.
The inn is owned by Alex Bond and Stephen Lennox. Mr Lennox said:
Paul’s return means that the dream team of Paul and our loyal and popular resident chef Frazer Ross is reunited.
Harrogate International Festivals has announced that T&R Theakston Limited is to extend its sponsorship of the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival.
The value of the festival to the local economy is estimated at £8 million annually.

Barclay LED lighting and electrical solutions has extended its sponorship at Harrogate Town AFC.
The company has been sponsors at the club since the 2022/23 season.

New Visitor Centre team members in the Black Bull in Paradise pub
T&R Theakston has recruited new team members for summer in their visitor centre, The Black Bull in Paradise.
Dave Harley, Bee Horner and Nichola Bramley are all set to join the centre.
Dave and Bee will start as tour guides, while Nichola will be vistor centre manager.
