From things to do through to the great outdoors, food and drink to arts and culture, the Stray Ferret's lifestyle team are always hard at work, shining a spotlight on what's happening in the Harrogate district.
There's always plenty to discover, and last week was no exception.
On Wednesday, October 23 our food writer Yemi hosted the Q&A for Kay Atkinson and Jill Laurillard from Yorkshire Appetite Food Tours, and their new book French Food Adventures: Two Yorkshire Sisters Discover French Cuisine.
We also delved into the fascinating life of John Richard Walbran, the wine merchant, archaeologist, historian, twice mayor - and famous introvert.
After receiving an influx of images capturing some magnificent stags and deer at Studley Royal Deer Park and in the Yorkshire countryside, we created a gallery so that our readers could enjoy the pictures too.
We’ve got another picture gallery planned for this weekend – this time celebrating the autumnal colours across the Harrogate district.
Remember, you can send your photographs of the Harrogate district to letters@thestrayferret.co.uk for a chance to be selected for Photo of the Week.
We've also got upcoming features exploring street entertainment in Harrogate, and how Yorkshire is a hotspot for trial biking - keep your eyes peeled for this weekend to find out more.
Finally, by subscribing to the Stray Ferret, readers can enjoy a range of fantastic exclusive offers, discounts and giveaways from local businesses, which we regularly update.
It's never too late in the year to start your health and wellness journey - subscribers can take advantage of 20% off the unlimited monthly membership at Ebru Evrim and half price on Atlas Fitness's 28-Day Kick Start Programme.
The Stray Ferret covers daily news, features, investigations, what’s on and so much more. By subscribing, you’re helping us keep telling the stories that matter most to the region.
