You don’t need to let summer go just yet thanks to the return of the Love to Be festival.
Returning to the Stray for its second year, the festival is bringing in a line-up of house music artists from around the world, including Armand Van Helden, The Shapeshifters, Ultra Naté and Gok Wan.

Planet Circus and the stuntmen who perform in the Globe of Speed
Take a trip to Planet Circus’s travelling big top, which is next stopping in Pannal. Watch the two-hour live show that will include trapeze artists and other aerial acts, gymnasts displaying their skills on a Rhönradturnen (German wheel) and a Chinese pole and much more.
Relish in the thrill of extreme motorcycle and monster truck stunts, including the Globe of Speed.
If you’re looking to enhance your day out, then go on a ride-on monster truck experience in the 11ft tall, 12 feet wide monster truck weighing 4 tons.

Learn about the stories of the people in Knaresborough during World War Two. The current exhibition named Knaresborough War: The People's Story at Knaresborough Heritage Centre tells the story of the people who lived in Knaresborough between 1939 and 1945.
The exhibtion highlights the role the town played taking in people from all across the country, including ten battalions, prisoners of war (POWS), land girls, factory workers and evacuees.
Find out about how a man from Knaresoborough aided in The Great Escape and about the unruly Italian POWS and their clashes with the German POWS.
Through items including medals, uniforms, letters, photographs and more, you will be provided with a picture of what the town went through during one of the most significant events in human history.
There will also be a talk held about the exhibition and the people of Knaresborough during World War Two on September 17.

Autumn Sports Cars Show, at Newby Hall in 2024
For the motoring enthusiasts who are free this weekend, Newby Hall in Ripon is hosting its event, Autumn Sports Cars in the Park.
It is one of a series of shows that has been running for 21 years. It brings together a wide range of prestigious cars in exhibits from clubs and individual enthusiasts alike.
The car brands which can be expected to be on show include the likes of McLaren, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Porsche and Alfa Romeo. There will also be trade stands and market stalls.
Tickets: £15 for children (ages four to 15 years old), £18 for adults online or £20 on the door, £54 for a family (two adults and two children) and £60 on the door, 10am-3pm, September 7, Newby Hall, Ripon, HG4 5AE.
Stall at Mum2mum market at Harrogate High school
The preloved market event that sells baby and children’s clothes, toys, books and equipment returns to Harrogate, just as the school year starts. Stalls can be found in Harrogate High School selling second-hand items.
The event is organised by Mum2mum which has multiple markets every weekend across the country and gained £35,000 of investment from Deborah Meaden on Dragons’ Den in 2016.
