There will have been some smiling faces - and the odd sore head – across the Harrogate district yesterday following the Stray Ferret Business Awards, sponsored by Prosperis.
Held at Pavilions of Harrogate on Thursday (March 26) night, the great and good of the local business world came out in their droves - all eagerly waiting to hear who the winners were.
Swinton Estate was crowned Business of the Year, whilst Ogden of Harrogate took home the Family Business award.
Hundreds of guests enjoyed a raffle led by Cllr Chris Alred, Mayor of Harrogate, and the annual game of Heads or Tails – with one lucky winner bagging a night at Swinton Estate – followed by a three-course dinner and dancing.
It was an evening of celebration and glamour, and shone a spotlight on the fantastic range of businesses in our local area.
